Almost all 13&over FAST swimmers attending the state swim meet this past weekend competed in the finals session of their respective events.  Every swimmer from the team posted lifetime best times.  The highlights of the weekend include a 2nd place finish for the 13-14 Girls 200 Medley Relay of Katelyn Holmquist, Emma Bare, Alexis Kent, & Abby Holmquist.  The same foursome placed in the top 4 of all relays that they competed in over the weekend.  Katelyn Holmquist finished 2nd in the 100 backstroke and posted the 2nd fastest time in the 200 backstroke.  Emma Bare cruised to a 2nd place finish in the 13-14 200 breast stroke.  Tyler Zaspel claimed an 8th place medal for his efforts in the13-14 50 freestyle.  Avery Kan placed 4th in the 13-14 100 backstroke.  Alexis Kent placed 8th in the 13-14 100 butterfly.  Wyatt Paul collected a number of individual top 16 finishes and Abby Holmquist posted 2 top 16's of her own.  In all, it was a fantastic swim weekend.  Good luck to our Zone swimmers; Abby & Katelyn Holmquist.
